1797_COX_STEVENS_Aircraft_Navigational_Computer

This US made COX & STEVENS navigational computer is essentially a mechanical analog trigonometric computer. It calculates the drift of the trajectory of an aircraft flying with a certain speed when the wind is blowing from a certain angle (lower part). Black metallic box (295x112mm) holding the main part in the lower body, and the circular rule in the lid. See 2 next slides how to use it for the solution of finding the drift and ground speed of an aircraft.
