| The quadratic chip is the i80186 microprocessor (16 bit, 10 MHz, made under license by AMD), surrounded by two clue-Roms from Acorn (BIOS) and RAM chips. The total available Ram to DOS PLUS was 512 KB. This is lower than the 640 kB found on PC's and clones, so that some DOS programs had too liitle memory to run. | |
