DSC04793.JPG - The Friden EC-132 is a successor of the model 130, the first electronic desktop calculator of the world. It is built exlusively from discrete components and does not contain any integrated circuits (IC's). This model 132 (with squareroot function) was designed in 1964 and probably shipped in 1965. It has been donated by Pierre Van Huffle, a former Friden technician.
