The Atari 400 has a slot to accect games cartridges (with card edge connector). The machine was built as a successor to the ATARI 2600 console. It has a specialyzed IC for graphics, the ANTIC graphics co-processor. It has only 8 kB Ram, enough to run a purpose written Atari BASIC residing on an external cartridge. | |
